AVAY

Terms of Service

Last updated 13 August 2026

These terms cover your use of AVAY at avay.ai. They are written to be read, not to be survived. By creating an account or joining a meeting, you agree to them.

The service

AVAY provides video meetings with an AI participant that can transcribe a conversation, generate notes, answer questions during the call, and — if you connect them — reach external systems on your behalf.

AVAY is early software under active development. Features change, and meetings may be interrupted. Do not rely on it as the sole record of anything consequential.

Your account

Recording and consent are your responsibility

When you switch transcription on, everyone's speech in that meeting is transcribed and stored. Laws in many places require that all participants be informed, and in some jurisdictions that they consent, before a conversation is recorded or transcribed.

Obtaining that consent is your responsibility, not ours. You agree to tell participants when transcription is on and to comply with the law that applies to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use AVAY to:

Your content

Your meetings, transcripts and notes remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — to store that content, process it with the AI features described in our Privacy Policy, and show it back to the people entitled to see it. We do not use your meeting content to train models.

Connectors

When you attach an external system, you confirm you are entitled to grant that access. The AI may call those tools during your meetings and act on what they return. You are responsible for what you connect and for what happens in those systems as a result.

Availability

There is no uptime guarantee. The service currently runs on a single server, so maintenance and failures cause downtime. We may change or discontinue features.

Ending it

You may stop using AVAY and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other users at risk.

Warranties and liability

AVAY is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. In particular we do not warrant that transcripts, notes or AI answers are accurate or complete — they are generated automatically and can be wrong or can omit things that were said.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when. Continuing to use AVAY after a change means you accept it.
